LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The first half of a four-game road swing will unfold this week for the Bellarmine University women's basketball team, as the Knights will travel to Queens for a 7 p.m. (ET) contest Thursday before heading to West Georgia for a 2 p.m. matchup Saturday.

ABOUT QUEENS
Queens (7-12, 1-7 ASUN) opened conference play with a 58-46 road win over injury-riddled Bellarmine on Jan. 1. The Royals have since dropped seven straight games, including 63-60 at North Alabama and 77-64 at West Georgia in last week's action. Guard Ana Barreto (10.4 ppg) is coming off a 21-point performance against the Wolves and ranks fourth in the ASUN in total 3-pointers made (44). Guard Jermany Mapp (10.2 ppg) has scored in double figures in five straight games.

ABOUT WEST GEORGIA
West Georgia has been the surprise of the ASUN. Picked to finish 10th in the ASUN preseason coaches' poll, the Wolves (13-6, 6-2) are currently in second place in the league. Before meeting Bellarmine, UWG will have a crucial showdown Thursday with conference leader Eastern Kentucky, which is undefeated in ASUN play (8-0). Last week, the Wolves dropped an 87-66 contest at Central Arkansas but regrouped for a 77-64 home win over Queens. West Georgia boasts the second-highest scoring offense in the league (73.7) along with the top field-goal percentage (44.0) and 3-point percentage (35.1). The Wolves unleash a three-pronged scoring terror in forward Jasmine Jones (15.2 ppg), guard Asia Donald (14.5 ppg) and guard Sydne Tolbert (14.1 ppg), who are three of the conference's top seven scoring leaders. UWG defeated Bellarmine 106-65 in this season's first matchup Jan. 3 in Louisville.

KNIGHTS NOTES
• Sophomore forward Kayce Hyman registered a team-high 14 points in the first matchup against Queens. She followed with 16 against West Georgia.
• The Knights' four-game road swing will follow at FGCU (Feb. 5) and Stetson (Feb. 7).
• This four-game road stretch is the second longest of the season for Bellarmine, which had a five-game road cluster Nov. 30-Dec. 21 that included contests against high majors Louisville, Illinois, Arizona and Notre Dame.
• Bellarmine just concluded a season-long four-game homestand. The Knights last week suffered losses of 81-58 to North Florida and 73-49 to Jacksonville.
• Due to an epidemic of injuries, Bellarmine has competed with 6-8 players in each of the last 16 games. On Saturday versus Jacksonville, the Knights had four players available from the original 2025-26 roster. BU competed with six players, as freshman guards Olivia Pifer and Mariah Daniels joined the team this month as walk-ons.
• Bellarmine added four more walk-ons leading into this week's games in guards Megan Wearsch, Carly Bryant and Maddie Janszen, and forward Clare Slocum.
• Hyman is averaging a team-high 13.1 points per game in ASUN play. She posted 18 and 15 points, respectively, against UNF and Jacksonville. Hyman has tallied 14 points or more in five conference games.
• Hyman has earned a high rate of trips to the FT line as of late. In the last three games, she's piled up 28 attempts from the charity stripe and hit 24 of them (85.7). She was 7-of-7 from the FT line against EKU, 10-for-13 versus UNF and 7-of-8 against Jacksonville.
Andrea Chiquemba was two points shy equaling her career high after totaling 15 against Jacksonville. The redshirt junior forward added 12 points against UNF. Those are her two highest-scoring efforts in ASUN play. She drilled a combined seven 3-pointers in the two games.
• Senior forward Patricia Sherrill tied a career high with 11 points against Jacksonville.
