JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Bellarmine University senior guard Triniti Ralston was selected to the 10-member Preseason All-ASUN Team for women's basketball, the league announced Tuesday.

Before missing the second half of last season, Ralston was flourishing at Bellarmine as a do-it-all guard after transferring from the University of Southern Indiana. In 11 games, all of which she started, she averaged team highs of 13.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.

Ralston was responsible for four of the team's six highest-scoring efforts of the season, with her 26-point outburst against Chattanooga topping the charts. In that contest, she also distributed nine assists. Another particularly notable outing was the Louisville native's 22-point, 15-rebound performance against Wright State that also included four steals.

An exceptional attacker of the basket, Ralston was adept at getting to the charity stripe. She averaged 7.5 attempts per game and capitalized to the tune of an 86.6 FT percentage. In nine of her 11 games, she earned six trips or more to the line.

Jacksonville's Tatum Brown swept the ASUN Preseason Player and Defensive Player of the Year awards. Brown and Ralston were joined on the Preseason All-ASUN Team by Jacksonville's Sinai Douglas and Aniah Smith, Lipscomb's McKayla Miller and Hope Counts, FGCU's Denika Lightbourne and Eve Alexander, North Florida's Alonya Waldon and Queens' Brenae Jones-Grant.
