LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University women's basketball team is set for a 29-game slate in the 2026-27 season.
The breakdown is near even, as Bellarmine will host 15 games and hit the road for 14. The Knights' ASUN schedule is comprised of 14 contests entailing seven home-and-home matchups.
Monique Reid's squad will face five NCAA Tournament teams and five more that participated in either the WNIT or WBIT.
HOME GAMES
Bellarmine will have a tune-up Oct. 29 as the Knights will host Spalding (14-13 last season) in an exhibition. Bellarmine's official home opener will take place Nov. 5 against Simmons (9-11). The Knights will welcome Bradley (20-13, WNIT berth) on Nov. 14, Alice Lloyd (12-12) on Nov. 20 and Brescia (24-8, NAIA National Tournament bid) on Nov. 29. Bellarmine will return to Knights Hall for a Dec. 9 matchup against former ASUN member Austin Peay (19-14, WNIT berth), which launches a four-game homestand. The Knights will square off with Mercer (17-13) on Dec. 13, Murray State (31-4, MVC Tournament champion, NCAA Tournament bid) on Dec. 15 and former ASUN member Eastern Kentucky (25-9, WBIT bid) on Dec. 21. Bellarmine opens ASUN play in its next home outing, a Jan. 9 clash with Lipscomb (10-20, 7-11 ASUN). The Knights' longest conference homestand begins Jan. 21 against FGCU (16-16, 11-7; WNIT berth), continues Jan. 23 against Stetson (20-12, 12-6; WNIT bid) and Jan. 28 versus Queens (10-20, 4-14), and ends Jan. 30 against new member West Florida (18-12 in final D2 season). In its final two regular-season home games, Bellarmine will face Jacksonville (24-9, 13-5; ASUN Tournament champion, NCAA Tournament berth) on Feb. 11 and North Florida (9-21, 4-14) on Feb. 13.
ROAD GAMES
Bellarmine opens the season Nov. 3 with its customary contest against Louisville (29-8, NCAA Tournament Sweet 16) and faces another NCAA Tournament team Nov. 8 in Miami Ohio (28-7, MAC Tournament champion), with a quick turnaround Nov. 10 at Bowling Green (17-14). The Knights' last November road game is the 17th at Indiana State (10-22). Bellarmine begins December at Cincinnati (11-20) on the 2nd and Kentucky (25-11, NCAA Tournament Sweet 16) on the 6th. Following a lengthy home stretch, the Knights will play at former ASUN member North Alabama (17-14, now a UAC member) on New Year's Eve. Bellarmine will head to the Sunshine State for its first ASUN road trip Jan. 14 at North Florida and Jan. 16 at Jacksonville, and its second conference road trip Feb. 4 at Stetson and Feb. 6 at FGCU. The latter pair begins a stretch where the Knights will conclude the regular season with five road outings over their last seven games, including three straight to close out with matchups Feb. 20 at Lipscomb, Feb. 25 at West Florida and Feb. 27 at Queens.
