LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After a recent gauntlet of road matches, Bellarmine women's tennis got back in the win column on Friday, defeating Marian University (Ind.) 6-1 at home in the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.
The Knights (7-13) have been battle tested as of late, facing off against power conference opponents Mississippi State, Indiana, Notre Dame and Kentucky.
Back in a familiar setting, Bellarmine was firing on all cylinders. Starting in doubles, senior Vendula Krylova and sophomore

Moving into singles, the Knights kept their momentum. All four doubles winners collected their second wins of the day to move the match to 5-0, securing the win. Junior
Lillie Willis notched her first win of the day on court six, defeating her opponent 6-0, 6-1 win for Bellarmine's sixth point.
Marian never gave up, battling for a 6-2, 6-4 win on court four, leading to the 6-1 final score.
Up next, Bellarmine will hit the road again, traveling to Murfreesboro, TN to take on Middle Tennessee on February 28.
