About the Knights: Davis is coming off a pair of strong performances in the fall, a career-best finish at Evansville (tied for 14th out of 68 at +13) and at Lipscomb (tied for 17th out of 62 at +8). Ackermann earned ASUN Golfer of the Week honors following her performance at the Butler Fall Invitational. She tied for ninth out of 82 golfers at +10 and led the Knights with seven birdies. Rooke finished in the top half of the field in all three of her fall events, including tying for 17th out of 68 at Evansville at +14. Buchanan finished in the top half of the field for the first time this season at the Braun Intercollegiate, tying for 34th out of 68 at +18. Davis, Ackermann and Buchanan are the only three Knights who will have started all six events this year. Nelson is making her fifth start this season and sixth overall appearance. Her best finish in the fall was at +14, tying for 36th out of 79 at A-Ga-Ming. Dunkle will be appearing in her fifth straight event.

About the Course: "Dan Maples, architect of the nationally acclaimed Pit Golf Links, has created another masterpiece only minutes from the Village of Pinehurst. Longleaf Golf & Family Club was formerly the site of Starland Farms, for years the training ground of some of the country's top thoroughbreds. As a tribute to its colorful history, Maples incorporated some of the features and flavor of the old facility into the golf course, including part of the fence and training track. The front nine at Longleaf was designed in the Scottish open style with subtly rolling fairways. The back nine, in contrast, is heavily tree-lined and dramatically elevated. Ron Whitten of Golf Digest called Longleaf '...the most playable course in Pinehurst.'" –GolfPass.com

Last Time Out: Bellarmine placed ninth out of 10 teams at The Robbie, held at the Highlands Course at Hampton Cove in Alabama. Davis was the lone Knights to finish in the top half of the field, tying for 17th out of 62 players.

Last Time at Event: The Kentucky programs last met in a head-to-head match at Boone Trace in Richmond, Ky., in August 2021 to begin the 2021-22 campaign. The Eagles bested the Knights in the two round event, finishing at +27 to Bellarmine's +56. Josephine Bonin was the Knights' top finisher at +9, tying for fifth in the 15-player field. This event marks the first time the Knights will have played Longleaf.
