LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The ASUN Gold Division champion Bellarmine University men's soccer team is set for a 15-game slate in 2026 that includes eight conference contests.
A 2025 ASUN Tournament finalist, Bellarmine (8-4-5, 3-1-2 ASUN last season) is entering its first season with former assistant
Matt Cannady at the helm and is bracing for eight home games and seven road outings.
HOME MATCHES
Bellarmine will open the season Aug. 20 by welcoming Evansville (7-5-8, MVC Tournament runner-up last season) to Owsley B. Frazier Stadium. The Knights' next home outing represents its ASUN opener, with Stetson (6-8-3, 2-3-1) arriving Sept. 5. Bellarmine starts a season-long three-game homestand with a pair of nonconference matchups with Chicago State (1-15-1) on Sept. 12 and D3 Hanover (14-4-3, HCAC Tournament runner-up) on Sept. 15 before an ASUN showdown with Central Arkansas (4-10-2, 3-2-1) on Sept. 19. In the Knights' three final home games, they'll bridge ASUN contests against reigning ASUN Tournament champion and Graphite Division champion North Florida (12-5-2, 4-2) on Oct. 10 and Lipscomb (2-9-6, 1-2-3) on Oct. 24 around an Oct. 13 nonconference outing against IU Indy (6-8-3).
ROAD MATCHES
Bellarmine will make its road debut Aug. 25 at Xavier (5-6-4) and follow Aug. 30 at Northern Kentucky (4-10-3). The Knights' last nonconference road outing will unfold Sept. 8 at Southern Indiana (2-10-5). Bellarmine's final four road games will all be ASUN contests. The Knights have back-to-back outings Sept. 26 at new conference member and D2 transplant West Florida (13-2-5), which won the Gulf South Conference Tournament and earned an NCAA II Tournament berth last season, and Oct. 3 at FGCU (6-7-3, 2-3-1). Bellarmine will head to Florida again for an Oct. 17 matchup with Jacksonville (6-7-5, 2-2-2). The Knights will conclude the regular season Oct. 31 at Queens (5-6-6, 0-2-4).
EXHIBITIONS
Bellarmine will host a pair of NAIA teams in exhibitions. The Knights will welcome 2025 NAIA National Tournament qualifier Union (14-3-4) on Aug. 8 and IU Columbus (6-10-1) on Aug. 11. Bellarmine will wrap up its three-game exhibition slate Aug. 15 at Wright State (2-13-1).
