LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University field hockey team is set for an 18-game regular-season schedule in 2026 that includes nine Mid-American Conference contests.
Entering their second season under head coach Toby Platt, the Knights will face teams from seven different conferences and travel to California, North Carolina, Virginia, Michigan and Ohio during the campaign. Bellarmine will play six home games at Trager Stadium, including five against MAC opponents.
OPENING STRETCH
Bellarmine opens the regular season with a pair of games in Columbus, Ohio. The Knights will meet Old Dominion in a neutral-site contest Aug. 29 before facing host Ohio State on Aug. 30.
Bellarmine will then head west for two games in California, taking on Stanford on Sept. 4 and UC Davis on Sept. 6.
The Knights begin MAC play Sept. 18 at Appalachian State before closing the weekend with a nonconference matchup at Davidson on Sept. 20.
HOME GAMES
Bellarmine's home opener is set for Sept. 25 against Longwood and will serve as Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day. The Knights remain at Trager Stadium for a Sept. 27 matchup with Ohio.
After four consecutive road games, Bellarmine returns home Oct. 16 to face Miami (OH) in its annual Pink Game. The Knights will then welcome another MAC opponent in UMass on Oct. 18.
Bellarmine closes the regular season with a pair of home contests, hosting Ball State on Oct. 29 before welcoming Saint Louis for Senior Day on Nov. 1. All home contest will be available on ESPN+.
ROAD GAMES
Following its opening trips to Columbus and California, Bellarmine will travel to North Carolina for a conference matchup with Appalachian State on Sept. 18 and then Davidson on Sept. 20.
The Knights begin October with four consecutive games away from home. Bellarmine visits Kent State on Oct. 2 before making the short trip across Louisville for an Oct. 6 matchup with the Cardinals.
Bellarmine then heads east to face MAC member James Madison on Oct. 9 and William & Mary on Oct. 11.
The Knights' final road trip begins Oct. 23 with a MAC contest at Central Michigan. Bellarmine will conclude the trip Oct. 25 at Big Ten opponent Michigan State.
PRESEASON
Bellarmine will prepare for the regular season with a pair of road scrimmages. The Knights visit Louisville on Aug. 19 before traveling to Saint Louis on Aug. 23.
