JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — For the second time in three weeks, Bellarmine University sophomore defender Gavin Crowe has been recognized as the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week for men's soccer.

In Bellarmine's 1-0 win over Stetson in an ASUN opener Saturday at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium, Crowe had the first of a double assist with junior midfielder Kanata Taira on junior forward Teddy Franke's game-winning goal in the 77th minute.

Crowe helped guide Bellarmine's defense to its second shutout of the season as the Knights allowed a single shot on goal.

Bellarmine earned its third straight ASUN Defensive POW accolade. Crowe bridged his citations around one for senior midfielder Tate McCrery.
