Bellarmine-Ohio State lacrosse game to be televised live

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The Bellarmine University-Ohio State University lacrosse game being played at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 1 at Ohio Stadium in Columbus will be televised live as the ECAC Lacrosse Game of the Week.

Locally, and throughout Kentucky, the game will be carried by the Wazoo Sports network.  In Louisville, Wazoo Sports airs on Digital Channel 11.3 and Insight Cable Channel 524.  

The game also will be aired by the following stations/networks throughout the country: MASN; The Comcast Network; TWC SportsNet, Rochester; TWC SportsNet, Buffalo; TW Sports 26, Syracuse; TWC 3, Albany; Cox Sports Television, New England; Fox Sports Pittsburgh; Ohio News Network; and Fox College Sports.
The game also will be available on tape delay through Cox Sports Television, South (May 3, 3 p.m.) and Bright House Sports Network (May 3, 1 p.m.).

The Bellarmine Knights, who will be playing their final game of the season, are currently 8-6 (2-4 ECAC).  The Buckeyes of Ohio State are 7-6, 3-3 and will finish their season next week at North Carolina.

The game is the last broadcast of the 5-game television package featuring Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) lacrosse teams. Legendary lacrosse broadcaster Leif Elsmo, who has announced lacrosse games for more than 20 years, is the primary broadcaster for the games.
