LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University women's and men's track and field program announced its indoor and outdoor schedules for the 2021-22 campaign.
Bellarmine will be competing in 16 total meets — seven in the indoor season and nine in the outdoor season. Six meets — three in each season — will take place in the Louisville area.
Saturday's UIndy Season Opener kicks off the indoor campaign for Bellarmine. The Knights will have a significant break before competing again Jan. 14-15 at Kentucky's Jim Green Invitational.
Three local meets at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center will follow: the Bellarmine Open (Jan. 21), Campbellsville's Tiger Paw Invitational (Jan. 28) and the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic (Feb. 4).
Bellarmine's final pre-conference meet will unfold Feb. 11-12 at Grand Valley State. The ASUN Indoor Championship is set for Feb. 25-26 at Liberty.
Bellarmine will open the outdoor season March 25-26 at North Carolina State's Raleigh Relays. On the latter day, March 26, select Knights will compete in Louisville when Campbellsville hosts a meet at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.
Bellarmine next competes April 1-2 at Western Kentucky's Hilltopper Relays before hosting the Jim Vargo Invitational on April 8-9 at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium.
From April 14-16, Bellarmine will have athletes competing in the Mt. Sac Relays in California and in the Kennesaw State Invitational. The Knights will then participate April 22-23 in UK's Kentucky Invitational.
Bellarmine closes the regular season April 29-30 in town at Louisville's Clark Wood Open. The ASUN Outdoor Championship is slated for May 12-14 at North Florida.
