LOUISVILLE, Ky. - For the second time this season, Bellarmine running back Brenden Reid was named Midwest Sprint Football League Offensive Player of the Week.  

Reid was first named Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 27 and earned MSFL Defensive Player of the Week Oct. 4.  This week marks the fifth MSFL honor claimed by a Bellarmine player this season.

Reid's performance, along with the entire offense, was exceptional in Saturday's 49-31 victory over Midway.  He put together a season-best 232 rushing yards, 9.3 yards per carry, and three total touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving).  Reid leads a Bellarmine rushing attack that ranks second in the league at 167 yards per game.

The Knights wrap up their regular season Saturday at Calumet College of St. Joseph (4-1).  Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET (7:00 p.m. CT) in Whiting, Indiana.
