LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sophomore
Chloe Powell placed fourth in the 800 in leading the Bellarmine University women's track and field team as the Knights hosted Friday's PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic at Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.
In addition to Powell, senior
Lauren Masden took sixth in the 17-member 800. Masden, in 10th, and senior
Morgan Kannapel, in 12th, both placed in the top half of the 24-participant 3000.
Juniors
Emma Wells and
Anna Wells placed 10th and 11th, respectively, in the 31-member mile.

Katrina Kamarute and freshman
Chloe Freilinger secured fourth in the 4x400 relay.
Kamarute placed in the top half of the 200 in 12th, while junior
Jenna Walker did the same in the 60 hurdles after finishing 11th.
Bellarmine will compete Friday and Saturday in the GVSU Big Meet.
