ATLANTA – The ASUN Conference revealed its 2023 Men's Lacrosse schedule on Thursday as 10 teams will take to the field beginning on Saturday, March 18, and wrap up the league slate on Saturday, April 29. A total of 45 games are on the docket for ASUN competition as each club will play nine league contests. The upcoming season is the second year in the relaunch of the sport in the ASUN and features four additions to membership with Jacksonville, Lindenwood, Mercer and Queens. The Dolphins and Bears were previous members of the conference while the Lions and Royals are making the transition to Division I in their first seasons in the ASUN.
Five games are set for the opening Saturday of conference play as Utah and Bellarmine square off in the only matchup of returning ASUN foes from 2022. Newcomers Lindenwood and Queens take on Cleveland State and Air Force, respectively, while Mercer hosts Detroit Mercy. Reigning ASUN Champion Robert Morris also welcomes league returner Jacksonville. Other highlights of the schedule include Jacksonville hosting Mercer on March 25 and Queens traveling to Lindenwood on March 29. The rematch of the 2022 ASUN Championship Final between the Colonials and Utes takes place on April 8.
The 2023 ASUN Championship is set for May 2-7 at Joe Walton Stadium in Moon Township, Pa.
