JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Freshman
Avery Koch scored in the women's discus, and Bellarmine University track and field had several athletes earn berths in event finals Friday on the second day of the ASUN Outdoor Championships at North Florida's Hodges Stadium.
Koch earned a point in the discus after placing eighth. Sophomore
Chloe Freilinger and senior
Katrina Kamarute both qualified for the finals in the 400, as did senior
Jenna Walker in the 100 hurdles.
Freshman
Jackson Gordon placed first in the men's 400 prelims, while junior
Ike Boling and sophomore
Trevor Holbrook joined him in locking up spots in the finals. Freshman
Zander Hooten earned a bid in the 110 hurdles finals.
Saturday marks the third and final day of the conference meet.
