JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Bellarmine University track and field's
Dylan Forster was honored as the ASUN Freshman of the Week, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Last weekend at the University of Louisville's Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational, Forster broke his own men's freshman program record in the shot put with a toss of 16.96m. He was the runner-up at the meet and is ranked second in the ASUN in the event.
With the performance, Forster also qualified for the USATF U-20 Outdoor Championship, which will be held in June at Haward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
