LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The ASUN Tournament-bound Bellarmine University men's soccer team will head to Gold Division counterpart Lipscomb for an 8 p.m. (ET) contest Saturday in the latter half of their home-and-home series this season.

Leader of the Gold Division, Bellarmine (8-3-2, 3-1 ASUN) posted a 3-0 win over the Bisons (1-8-5, 0-2-2) on Sept. 27 in Louisville in the first meeting. The Knights snapped a five-game losing streak to Lipscomb with that victory.

With a 5-2 home win over Central Arkansas last Saturday, Bellarmine not only overtook the Bears for first place in the Gold Division, the Knights became the first team in the conference to lock up an ASUN Tournament berth. BU established a new Division I-era program record with its eighth win.

Three of the four teams from each division qualify for the ASUN Tournament. With two conference games remaining, Bellarmine (9 points earned in league play) is striving to claim a Gold Division championship, while Lipscomb has plenty of motivation as well — the Bisons (2 pts) are still in contention for one of the two available postseason berths. Central Arkansas (7 pts) follows BU while Queens (3 pts) is in third place.
