LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bellarmine University track and field competed Friday and Saturday in the University of Louisville-hosted PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.
Junior
Jackson Gordon placed sixth in the men's seeded 400 (47.64), as did redshirt freshman
Will Bracher in the shot put (15.64). Junior
Alex Hooten finished eighth in the 800 (1:51.66) while junior
Zac Hutslar (ninth, 21.95) and Gordon (18th, 22.16) were both in the top half of the 200.
Junior
Chase Atkins placed 10th in the seeded mile (4:07.82), sophomore
Clinton Bass was 14th in the 60 hurdles (8.36), freshman
Tommy Eisenback was 15th (7.04) and Hutslar 21st (7.09) in the 60, and junior
Paul Stamm finished in the upper tier of the 3000 in 21st (8:20.45).
Senior
Taylor White placed in the upper half of the women's 3000 (19th, 10:28.09), as did junior
Sierra Oesterling in the mile (34th, 5:09.1).
Bellarmine will compete Friday at the Eastern Indoor at Norton SLC.
