T&F set to compete in, host ASUN Indoor Championship

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bellarmine University track and field will host the ASUN Indoor Championship on Thursday and Friday at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.

The combined events will kick off the action each day, with a 9 a.m. start Thursday and an 8:30 a.m. start Friday.

Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, Lipscomb, North Florida, Queens and West Georgia will have women's and men's teams participating, while Austin Peay and Jacksonville will only have women's competitors.

Bellarmine will be competing at the Norton SLC for the seventh time this indoor season and hosting for the third time.

Several Bellarmine athletes are ranked in the top 10 of ASUN events:

Jackson Gordon – second, 400 (47.64); t-seventh, 800 (1:52.59)
Chase Atkins – third, 5000 (14:09.92)
Will Bracher – fourth, shot put (15.78); ninth, weight throw (15.75)
Clinton Bass – fifth, 60 hurdles (8.28)
Carter Olmsted – sixth, 60 hurdles (8.30)
Zac Hutslar – sixth, 200 (21.95); eighth, 400 (49.61)
Alex Hooten – sixth, 800 (1:51.66)
D.K. Schnieders – eighth, 5000 (14:29.91)
Paul Stamm – 10th, 3000 (14:32.19)
WOMEN
Amelia Svidal – sixth, triple jump (11.66)
Alysia Hurtado – sixth, weight throw (16.20)
Taylor White – ninth, 5000 (17:30.31)
