LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bellarmine University track and field on Friday wrapped up the last of six straight meets at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center with the Eastern Indoor hosted by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Junior
Jackson Gordon took top honors among a 27-member field in the men's 800 after finishing in 1:52.59 while senior
Nolan Hester provided a second top 5 after placing fifth (1:54.09).
Sophomore
Clinton Bass claimed the top spot in the 60 hurdles (8.37). In the mile, freshman
Ben Hunter placed first among the college-attached competitors (4:27.72).
Junior
Zac Hutslar tied for second (49.61) and freshman
Grant King (50.15) was fifth in the 400. Hutslar added a fourth (7.04) and freshman
Tommy Eisenback was fifth (7.07) in the 27-member 60. Eisenback also took third in the 23-competitor 200 (22.67).
Sophomore
Raven Payne was the runner-up (57.71) and senior
Jansen Story was fourth (58.98) in the women's 400. In addition, Story placed fifth in the 17-member 200 (26.51).
Bellarmine will conclude the regular season Friday-Saturday by competing in the GVSU Big Meet in Allendale, Michigan.
