LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University men's tennis team moved to 2-0 this spring with a 7-2 victory over the Asbury Eagles on Saturday in the Bellarmine University Sport, Recreation and Fitness Center.

Despite a loss at No. 1 doubles, the Knights took a 2-1 lead into the singles portion of the match, and Bellarmine's Anton Rabinov, Jose Legarreta and Zachary Kuo assured the Knights of a victory by sweeping the Nos. 1, 2, and 3 singles matches.The Eagles grabbed one final victory, by taking the only match that went longer than two sets when Deuce Gibson took a narrow 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 victory at No. 6 singles.

Bellarmine got two wins apiece out of Legarreta, Kuo, and Nathan Walroth who all won in both singles and doubles. 

The Knights return to action in one week when they host the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial University.
