LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University men's tennis team kept its 2015 record unblemished with a narrow 5-4 victory over Cambellsville University today at BU's Sport, Recreation and Fitness Center. The match came down to No. 6 singles where Logan Knott secured a 6-1, 6-2 victory for the Knights.  

Bellarmine opened the match with a 2-1 advantage in doubles, with that one point advantage being the final margin as the teams split the singles matches 3-3.

One of the marquee matches was at No. 1 singles where Bellarmine's Anton Rabinov secured a 6-4, 7-5 win over Alejandro Soriano, who is ranked 21st in the nation.  Rabinov had a solid day for the Knights as he also helped secure a point as part of the No. 1 doubles team.  Also scoring two points for Bellarmine was Zachary Kuo, who won his No. 3 singles match 6-2, 6-2 and partnered with Jose Legarreta to win at No. 2 doubles.

The Knights move to 3-0 on the season while Campbellsville opens its season 0-1.

The Knights have a quick turnaround as they travel to Elsah, Ill., tomorrow to face Great Lakes Valley Conference foes Missouri-St. Louis and Truman State in a pair of matches that will not count in the conference standings.
