GREENCASTLE, Ind. — The Bellarmine University men's tennis team opened its 2018-19 campaign over the weekend at the DePauw Invitational.
The Knights captured victories in five matches at the event. Two of the wins came in doubles play. Freshman
Caleb Buckman and sophomore
Sam Rueff notched a victory in the No. 1 doubles flight, as did junior
Andrew Jones and senior
L.J. Allara in the No. 3 flight.
In addition to achieving his first collegiate doubles win, Buckman also secured his first singles victory while playing in the No. 1 flight.
Freshman
Noah Neuhauser also picked up his first collegiate win after tallying a victory in the No. 4 flight. Allara collected a win in the No. 5 flight.
Bellarmine will play Saturday at Cedarville.
