LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University men's tennis team is set for three matches away from campus this week.
Bellarmine (1-1) will play at 3 p.m. (ET) Friday at Furman (1-3) before a Sunday doubleheader at Virginia Tech (1-0) that includes a 4 p.m. contest against the Hokies followed by an 8 p.m. neutral-site tilt against Charlotte (3-0).
Bellarmine is coming off a dramatic 4-3 victory over UIC last Friday in the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex. In must-win matches, Bellarmine sophomore
Eli Wood and junior
Xavier Ecarma triumphed at Nos. 5 and 6 singles to rally the Knights to victory.

Jack Batchelor and sophomore
Vineet Ramesh also secured wins at Nos. 1 and 3 singles. The Knights dropped the doubles point, but Batchelor and sophomore
Matthew Nice claimed a 6-1 win at No. 1.
Ramesh is 8-2 in singles play while Batchelor and Ecarma have both recorded seven wins. Batchelor and Nice are pacing the Knights in doubles action with a 5-2 mark.
