LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine University men's tennis team will play its final home match of the 2025 season this Wednesday, April 2, hosting Austin Peay State University at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.

Wednesday's match was originally scheduled for 3 pm E.T. but has been moved up to 1:30 pm due to the weather forecast in the area.

Bellarmine (6-9, 2-3 ASUN) tallied its first two Atlantic Sun Conference wins of the year last weekend, defeating Queens and Eastern Kentucky by a 4-3 score. Sunday's match against the Colonels came down to the wire as the Knights pulled out the win with the final singles match.

Junior Vineet Ramesh was a key cog in both of Bellarmine's wins, going 4-0 on the weekend with two wins in both doubles and singles. Fellow junior Eli Wood also turned in a strong weekend, going 3-0 with two singles and one doubles win. Wood clinched the win against Eastern Kentucky with a 7-5, 6-2 win on court four.

Austin Peay is 5-10 overall and 1-4 in ASUN action. The Governors also recorded their first conference win this past weekend, taking down Queens 4-3. Austin Peay hosted EKU on Friday, falling 4-3 to split the weekend 1-1.

Bellarmine and Austin Peay only met one other time since the Knights joined the ASUN when it transitioned to Division I in 2020. The lone meeting came last season on March 26 in Clarksville, TN and resulted in a 7-0 win for BU.
