LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bellarmine University lacrosse will look to keep its postseason hopes alive when the Knights welcome Jacksonville in Atlantic Sun Conference action at noon (ET) Saturday at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium.

With two games remaining in the regular season, Bellarmine (4-10, 0-3 ASUN) is in a must-win situation in its home finale. Utah (3-0 ASUN) and Mercer (2-1) have secured half of the bids to the four-team ASUN Tournament. Jacksonville (2-1) and Air Force (2-1) are on the brink. Queens is 0-3 in league play.

ABOUT JACKSONVILLE
Jacksonville (6-5 overall) is looking to sew up a bid in the ASUN Tournament. The Dolphins are very close to being undefeated in conference action, defeating Air Force 16-10 and Queens 14-1 before being edged 9-8 by Utah last weekend. Jacksonville has won five of its last seven games and both of the losses — also 10-9 in overtime to Navy in addition to Utah — have been by a single goal. The Dolphins lead the ASUN and rank second in the nation in scoring defense (7.91) while ranking second in the conference in scoring offense (12.91). Six players have recorded 10 or more goals for Jacksonville, led by 24 from Zane Czeschin followed by 22 from Jack Taylor.

KNIGHTS NOTES
• Jacksonville holds a 9-4 series lead over Bellarmine. The Knights won the first four meetings, but the Dolphins own a nine-game winning streak in the series, including an 18-5 outcome last season in the Sunshine State. Their last contest in Louisville was a tight one, with the Dolphins securing a 13-12 win in Frazier Stadium in 2023. The teams were counterparts in the Southern Conference (2015-21) before resuming their conference rivalry in the ASUN in 2023.
• The difference between being 0-3 instead of 2-1 in the ASUN has been a slim margin for Bellarmine, which is coming off a pair of heartbreaking losses, 13-12 in OT to Air Force at home followed by an 18-17 setback at Mercer last weekend. In the latter contest, the Knights fell despite tying a season high for scoring while setting new season bests in total shots (52) and shots on goal (34). A season-high nine Knights scored in the contest.
• Bellarmine continues to lead the nation in three individual statistical categories. Senior attack John Alie ranks first in the country in total points (65), sophomore attack Ezra Moore leads the nation in total assists (40) and sophomore GK Nolan Hudnut tops the land in total saves (200).
• Bellarmine actually boasts the nation's top 2 in total points. Moore directly follows Alie with 64. Alie ranks third in the country in total goals (42), is tied for ninth in goals per game (3.0) and is tied for 12th in points per game (4.64). Moore ranks fourth in the nation in assists per game (2.86) and is 16th in points per game (4.57). Hudnut is third in the land in saves per game (14.29).
• Both Alie brothers rank in the top 5 in the nation in total goals. Joe Alie, a sophomore attack, ranks fifth with 38. He's 30th in goals per game (2.71).
• On his fourth and final assist against Mercer, Moore set a new single-season program record with his 40th assist. His eight total points in the contest were a career high and one shy of tying the program record. His four goals tied a career best. Moore's 64 points rank fourth in a single season in program history. He's risen to second all-time in career assists with 65 (Kyle Playsted - 109) and sixth in career points (114).

Alie is the program's career leader in goals (144), with his 42 this season ranking third in program history (his 52 in 2025 is the record). Alie's 65 points this year also rank third all-time (Playsted's 79 in 2023 is the record). He scored three goals against Mercer, marking his ninth hat trick of the season.
• On his 19th and final save against Mercer, Hudnut became the first GK in program history to record 200 saves in multiple seasons. He's done that in his first two years at Bellarmine after piling up a program-record 212 as a freshman in 2025. Hudnut's 412 career saves rank third all-time.
